Precision Products is ISO-9001:2008 certified
In January of 2010 Precision Products, a local family owned designer and manufacturer of high precision machine parts for the automotive, power generation, food, beverage, medical and textile industries has received registration to ISO 9001:2008; making Precision the only full service, high precision machine shop in the area to be certified under the prestigious ISO international standard.
Conformance to the ISO 9001:2008 quality assurance standards requires the implementation of procedural changes, training, increased documentation, and adjustments to operating systems on every level of the manufacturing process at Precision Products engineering and manufacturing plants. According to Precision’s President David Davis "ISO registration is documented proof that our people and process are performing at the highest level possible to ensure we meet our customers ever changing needs. We have spent a lot of time and effort improving our business over the last few years including a tremendous investment in technologies such as exotic CNC machines, measurement devices capable of accuracy down to .000080" and in house metallurgical analysis. ISO registration is one more example of our dedication to our customers, employees and the community."
ISO 9000 is a series of internationally recognized standards developed by the International Organization of Standardization which define requirements for the implementation of quality systems in operational procedures. The standards apply uniformly to companies in any industry and of any size. ISO 9001 applies to industries involved in the design and development, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of products.
Precision Products, manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of high precision parts all over the USA and throughout the world. In addition to a full range of manufactured parts Precision also offers reverse engineering of machine parts. Precision’s experienced staff of sales engineers offers over 100 combined years of experience in industrial/manufacturing plants which is a key component of their value added business model. We sell a lot more than parts, we sell solutions to problems, innovation and machine up time.
